Don’t understate your actions, Lin. & it’s okay to have thoughts that don’t deserve praise, I mean Amon stole away what shaped your identity…how would anyone who had part of their identity taken away from them feel? But that’s not all you are! Being an earth/metal bender is a part of who you are, it’s not all you are.

So, I got a lot of requests on Lin sacrificing herself/another character parallels, I just compiled all the sacrifices made on the two shows (I’m sure I’m missing some more)
just some of my comments, you can erase this part when you reblog :P
1. I’m hating the outcome of this gifs XD I’m still trying to make nice gifs really. Tumblr format seems to not agree with me on its size, so quality is degraded.
2. I see a spelling error, sorry for that (was copying the transcript)
3. I thought hard on the Toph one, I know her intentions were to gain freedom. But she did sacrifice her comfortable lifestyle and hurting her parents by joining the gaang, it’s still a sacrifice to me.
4. Can we just admire all the characters? :)
